Day 145: Last Full Day of Happily Doing Nothing — Dinner in Mijas
This is the last full day at the villa here in Mijas with the Voorhees and Peun clans.
We awoke to cooler temperatures and the first clouds we have seen all week.
The clouds burned off as the morning progressed but it never got as warm as it has been the previous few days. So swims were short and the kids spent less time in the pool and instead played around the yard and inside the house.

We decided to head to Aroma Cafe & Secret Garden in Mijas for early evening dinner for the kids and tapas and drinks for the grownups. The tapas ended up being a full meal — meat and cheese board followed by a sizzling grill filled with meat. But that didn’t stop us from getting a few pizzas on the way home — just in case we got hungry later.
After dinner we grabbed ice cream in town then headed home.
We got the kids showered and into bed, we packed up and then uncorked the gifted red wine. (Chris found a phone and a pair of glasses on the road while running this morning. The owner tracked us down and gave us a nice bottle of red as a thank you.)

We had a few final laughs in the kitchen and then headed off to bed.
